LA VIDA DE VUELTA....SANTIAGO DE CHILE, MARZO 2013

La Moneda, House of goverment.

Tengo la sensación de haber dejado Filipinas igual que la Familia Von Trapp, ( la familia de la Novicia Rebelde, (cuando tienen que escapar y dejar Austria ) fue todo tan rápido, es como ver una película de dos horas en fast play en 13 minutos.
Pero así fue, entre la decisión y venirnos pasó un mes, realmente no sé cómo lo hicimos????
Tengo que decir que parte de nuestro corazón siempre estará en Filipinas, con su gente, en nuestros queridos amigos que se hicieron familia.
Pero era lo que teníamos que hacer, así es que después de esos días en París llegamos a Santiago.
Qué maravilla!!!!! Santiago lindo y próspero, con nuestra familia y amigos esperando , con un clima privilegiado ( hace calor, pero es seco y en la noche baja la temperatura y puedes descansar ;) )
Así es que ya cumplimos 6 semanas desde que llegamos y aún no tenemos casa, vivimos en un hotel, yo se que suena super entretenido, pero no lo es tanto cuando tienes 3 niños, no puedes cocinar, los niños van al colegio y no hay lavadora.!
En todo caso lo hemos tomado lo mejor posible, vamos mucho a la casa de mi mamá que siempre nos está esperando y disfrutamos de estar en familia, no puedo negar que ésta es una prueba y que realmente se necesita temple, pero Como siempre nos enfocamos en lo positivo y vivimos felices, esperamos que nos entreguen nuestra casa pronto :)
Vivir fuera hace que uno aprecie las cosas más pequeñas y las más grandes.

Cosas que hoy apreciamos mucho más que antes:
No mencionaré la familia y los amigos porque siempre los hemos apreciado mucho.

El agua potable
Los supermercados !!! Líder o Jumbo :)
Los tomates, ojalá limachinos
La Vega
Las calles de Santiago, si yo se, uno piensa que eso es taco..... Taco es estar en un lugar por horas y no moverse!!!!
El orden
Qué las cosas funcionen
El precio de los taxis, y que son seguros.
El manjar.
Que te digan cosas como " mi dama"o Señorita ( antes me parecía último hoy lo encuentro,de lo más que hay)
El cariño del colegio de los niños
Que hoy, mucho más que antes, la gente sabe donde está Filipinas.
Las paltas.
Los duraznos.
Comer en un restaurant y no tener que rezar para que no nos enfermemos.
La rapidez de los chilenos.
Manejar :)
Y muchas otras cosas más!!!!!!

Poco a poco estamos más acostumbrados, las primeras semanas fueron difíciles, pero ya pasaron.

I have the feeling of having left the Philippines like the Von Trapp family, (the family of Sound of Music, when they have to escape and leave Austria).... was all so fast, it was  like watching a two-hour film in 13 minutes . But we did it!, between the decision and leaving qas just a month! , we really do not know how we did it???? I have to say that part of our hearts will always be in the Philippines our dear friends who became family, but what we had to do it, so after those days in Paris we arrived to Chile,. How wonderful!! Santiago clean and prosperous,With a privileged climate (hot & dry but at night the temperature drops and so you can rest ;))  Is been  six weeks since we got home and we don't have our house yet we still live at the hotel, I know  that sounds fun for some ,  but is  not so much when you have three kids, you can not cook, the children go to school and there is no washing machine.! In any case we have taken it in the best possible way we go to my mom's house where she is  always waiting for us, and enjoye being with family, I can not deny that this is a test and it really takes mettle, but as always we try to  focus on the positive and live happy, we hope they  deliver our house soon :) Living outside your own contry makes you  appreciate the small and  the big things... simple Things  we appreciate today than ever before: No mention family and friends because they are always greatly appreciated. Tap  Drinking water  Supermarkets! Tomatoes if they are from A place called Limache so much better! The streets of Santiago,, we call traffic Jam. "Taco"....we don`t  really have them all the time...Taco is being somewhere and not move for hours!! The order After all things,  work . The price of taxis, and they are safe. El manjar ; (do some research ;) When people call you   things like "my lady" or Miss!  The affection at Newland, the children's school Avocados. Peaches. Chilean sandwiches The speed of the Chileans. (fast...so fast!)  Despite what many say ... good service. :) to drive!! We love our country... But as I say when you start traveling you are a citizen of the world ;) Love Fran Lomito completo!!!!!! primos!!!!, Cousins!!!! Good times! we can fit many kids in our room, no problem!
